O gênero feminino e a narrativa poética em Balada de Amor ao Vento, de Paulina Chiziane

Abstract

The present research has as its study theme the representation of the female gender and the construction of a poetic narrative present in the work Balada de Amor ao Vento written by Paulina Chiziane and published in 1990. The research questions were: “How is the female gender portrayed? in the work, investigated from the point of view of the character Sarnau?” and “How, in the narrator's voice, questions arise that remind the lyricist?”. To answer these questions, a bibliographic research was carried out, based on critical readings of the text and theoretical references, with the main objective of highlighting the representation of the female gender and pointing out the presence of lyrical, epic and dramatic traits in the narrative, verifying if this , constitutes a poetic narrative. To this end, this research sought to ascertain, in fragments of the book, aspects that present the proposed, mainly in the theory of Beauvoir (1970), Boutchich (2016), Dorlin (2021), Pires (2006), Pimenta (2009), Volante (2006), Telo (2017) and Genette (1979). From the investigations and reading of Paulina Chiziane's book, it was found that the author seeks to metaphorize female feelings through lyrical expressions.
